Jadien Gunnip, doing business as Gunnip Studios ("we", "us", or "our") operates the VentureOut - Discover mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
1.1 Personal Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). This includes:
- Email address (via Firebase Auth)
- First name and Last name
- Cookies and Usage Data
1.2 Usage Data
When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, and other diagnostic data.
1.3 Location Data
We do not collect, track, or store your GPS location data. Our Service is curated manually for the Miami, FL area and operates without requiring active location permissions.
2. Data Processors & Third Parties
We use the following third-party services to facilitate our Service:
- Google Firebase: Used for authentication, database management, and analytics.
- Expo: Used for push notifications and over-the-air updates.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.
To Delete Your Account: Navigate to the "Profile" tab within the app, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete Account". This action is immediate and irreversible.
4. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.

Terms of Service (EULA)

1. Acknowledgment
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VentureOut - Discover application operated by Jadien Gunnip, doing business as Gunnip Studios. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You acknowledge that this agreement is concluded between you and Jadien Gunnip only, and not with Apple Inc. Jadien Gunnip, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and the content thereof.
2. Scope of License
The license granted to you for the Licensed Application is limited to a non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded Products that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
3. Content & Liability Waiver
VentureOut - Discover is a discovery platform for third-party events and venues. We do not organize, host, or manage these events.
Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks and responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur while attending events discovered through this Service. Jadien Gunnip disclaims all liability for the safety, quality, or legality of the events listed.
Alcohol & Nightlife: Many events listed involve nightlife and alcohol. You certify that you meet the legal age requirements to attend such events. Please venture out responsibly.
4. Maintenance and Support
Jadien Gunnip is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.
5. Warranty
Jadien Gunnip is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Licensed Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application.
6. Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
7. Third Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of this agreement, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third party beneficiary thereof.
